Estelle Francès Laserre – Fondation Francès

Estelle Francès Lasserre is an art historian and a graduate of International Cultural Management. Above all she is passionate about works of art, donations and the resonance of art. This field is one of the cornerstones of her life.

Co-founder of the Francès Foundation, under her directorship since 2008, she defines the strategies, taking responsibility for the cultural programme, as well as in-situ and off-site exhibition curatorship. The foundation circulates a contemporary art collection that she has built up with her husband since 2004.

In 2015, she created LES AMIS (Friends) association dedicated to cultural education and pedagogy. She launched ‘La Fabrique de l’esprit’, a programme of history of art lessons, with supporting works and an à la carte package for teaching staff for whom she designs and facilitates, within educational institutions, cultural projects meeting specific needs with a societal approach.

In 2016, she launched a digital platform francoiseartmemo.fr to support artists with their art and business deals, a free showcase for artists, an annual international competition, calls for permanent projects as well as the inventory and production of content on works, funded in the context of the percent for art scheme and often overlooked within their region.

Since 1991, Estelle has been on the board of directors of cultural associations for which creation is a tool for social cohesion. In parallel, from 1995 to 2005, as an international marketing executive within European car companies, her successive missions enabled her to bring the strategies of these brands to creative fields associated with design and contemporary art. Lastly, in 2004, she created her company ARROI, ART’n’ROI, specialising in patronage strategy and cultural engineering. She advises managers wishing to develop an identity in terms of culture and heritage and through her unique approach to respond to issues related to Corporate Social Responsibility.

Estelle Francès Lasserre is involved in many public acquisition committees (since 2012, CNAP, DRAC) of private panels such as the Terra Foundation 2016, the Françoise Competition 2016, the Marcel Duchamp Prize 2015, the Salon de Montrouge 2013. Named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2013.
