‘Le Tag/200m’ or Deadline Middelheim 2019 reactivates a project by Joëlle Tuerlinckx, that was originally conceived for Skulptur Projekte 2017, realised in a park (former cemetery) in the city of Marle (G). The line, with the same length of two hundred meters, is drawn again every Sunday morning at 10am. The performance is executed by a member of the museum staff within the context of the exhibition of Ria Pacquée « They are looking at us, we are looking at them ».   Being a major tag, Deadline Middelheim 2019, presents itself as an authentic ‘legal museal dayline’, measuring a length of two hundred meters, certificated conform.
